Gift Idea: The LAPD pocket postal scales
make great
holiday gifts for co-workers! The LAPD mechanical scale comes in a handy
vinyl wallet, is easy to use, is very reasonably priced, includes a postal rate
table, and everyone likes it!
I distributed six gift-wrapped LAPD postal scales to my work colleagues, today (04-DEC-2000) . . . little "stocking stuffer" holiday presents. All my coworkers "opened them early" and were quite pleased with them. I received several nice comments throughout the day—certainly more reaction than I expected. They were delighted with this simple but accurate "scientific gizmo" that weighs outgoing mail, and thereby saves them a trip to the post office. This time of year, almost anyone can use the LAPD for those domestic holiday cards with extra enclosures, and overseas cards. Actually, it's handy throughout the year. I'm ordering ten more, for other gift-giving occasions in the coming months! David in California.

All LAPD , Calibron , Accura , Gem7 , or Deering Scales can only be purchased by prepaying in advance using our special prepay order form . We will NOT ACCEPT credit card orders for these scales. S&H is $8.00 since all parcels are shipped via US Priority Mail Insured. We understand $8 for S&H may be ridiculous to many people, but we are wholesalers offering scales at substantially low prices even when purchasing single piece units. It actually costs $5.80 to ship via US Priority Mail Insured and we are collecting $2.20 to process, package and ship the order. The S&H fees are designed to reward people who purchase multiple items. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Credit card orders are accepted for people wishing to purchase 50 or more LAPD scales or if you are purchasing an additional digital electronic scale.
